Abdominoplasty Photos - Case #2123

Patient Case #2123

Abdominoplasty Revision Patient

49 year old woman, 5’2”, 149 lbs, 3 children, had TT 8 years previously and wished revision. She is shown 4 months post high-lateral tension abdominoplasty. Mons reduction was also done. Progressive tension and quilting sutures were used so no drains were required and none were used. Muscle repair was done in three layers, first with permanent interrupted sutures, followed by long-acting continuous Quill sutures to further fine tune the repair. The umbilical recipient site was defatted and sutured to the abdominal wall to invert and hide the scar.
