Abdominoplasty Photos - Case #2133

Patient Case #2133

Abdominoplasty and Liposuction Patient 1

Case 2

Patient Age: 43, 3 children

Patient Height: 5’0”, 110 lbs lbs.

Post Op Photo taken at: 4 months. The scar is well-hidden under the low-cut underwear. Liposuction of the abdomen and flank has reduced the waistline.

Many women are concerned that they will have an unnatural looking belly button, too round, in the wrong place, or showing the scar on the very front or with stitch marks.

By drawing the abdominal skin down to the abdominal wall, holding it there with sutures, and keeping the remnant skin from the old belly button relatively small, the recreated umbilicus looks natural. It can be fashioned either vertically or horizontally. Most studies indicate that the preference for an aesthetic-appearing belly button is more vertical.
