This 50 year-old woman wanted Ideal Structured Implants rather than gel implants because they feel very much like gel implants, but do not require any imaging studies for follow up. Since they are filled only with saline, a leak can be detected by looking in the mirror. She also had vaser-assisted liposuction of the abdomen, waist and flanks and a drainless tummy tuck. With the use of Exaprel to minimize post-op pain and the drainless technique, the patient can be up and around soon after surgery and is much more comfortable than using drains or pain pump catheters.
