Abdominoplasty Photos - Case #5379

Patient Case #5379

This 42 year-old woman had liposuction deformities of her abdomen, waist and flanks, done by a dermatologist.
This difficult problem was treated by a comprehensive, re-liposuction of the entire abdomen, waist and flanks using vaser ultrasonic techniques. After breaking up the scar tissue under the skin, a smooth, even pliable skin/fat flap was obtained. An abdominoplasty was done to smooth out the abdomen as much as possible, removing all the skin below the umbilicus. This was difficult because the upper abdomen in patients such as this have scar tissue that restricts the elasticity and mobility of the upper abdominal skin which has to be brought down to cover the rest of the abdomen.
