51 year-old Man with 4 x 7 cm Lipoma Completely Removed Through a 1/2″ Incision
The patient had a large 4 x 7 cm lipoma of the right lower chest. This was treated with local anesthesia, a 1/2″ incision, softening and debulking with power-assisted liposuction, then surgically removed by dissection and extrusion under direct vision, ensuring complete removal. A drain was placed for one week, and he is seen two weeks post-op. There has been no recurrence in the past year.
