Is Your Butt Looking Flat?

A flat tummy is something all of us long for. But a flat butt?? That is a strict no-no! A lot of people want a well-toned and rounded buttocks that looks good in those nice pair jeans but sadly, not all of us are naturally blessed with such a butt. However, with the right help, nothing is impossible.

Cosmetic surgery once again comes to the rescue to give you those perfectly toned and rounded butts! A well-rounded buttocks is an essential part of a well-proportioned body and a Brazilian butt lift surgery can help you achieve just that.

What Is A Brazilian Butt Lift Surgery?

A Brazilian butt lift surgery is a cosmetic procedure that specializes in the transfer of fat and helps enhance the size and shape of your butt without the need for implants. A section of your body that has excess fat is used as a donor area to harvest the fat needed for the surgery. Fat is removed from this area using liposuction.

You could choose your thighs, abdomen, hips, or another part of your body that has an adequate amount of fat for use as the donor area. The fat that is removed is then injected into the buttocks. Using skilled hands and attention to detail, your surgeon will be able to improve the proportion and shape of your entire lower body. Taking fat from these common problem areas can help improve how they look while also improving the shape of your buttocks.

Steps Involved in the Brazilian Butt Lift Surgery

A Brazilian butt lift procedure consists of three main steps. First a donor area is selected, and fat is removed through liposuction from that area. The fat is then processed and the impurities are removed so that it can safely be transferred to the buttocks. Finally the fat is injected into strategic points in the buttocks to help increase the volume.

The Brazilian butt lift procedure is performed on an outpatient basis under the administration of an anesthetic. Usually, your surgeon will inject a larger quantity of fat than necessary into your butt as it is common for some amount of fat to be absorbed into your body.

After the procedure is completed, you may experience some discomfort in the treatment areas, some swelling, and slight bruising. Your doctor will help by prescribing specific medications to help ease you through the process comfortably.

After the surgery, during your recovery period, you will have to follow post-surgery instructions given to you by your doctor. Following these instructions is crucial to experiencing the best end result possible.

During this period of time, you should make sure to avoid applying direct pressure to your buttocks for about a week or two. Make sure to lay down on your stomach or side when you are sleeping and avoid sitting down without an adequate cushion beneath you.

You should also take some time off work and any strenuous activities to rest and relax. Resting is essential to a quick recovery and will allow you to see the results of the surgery much faster than if you don’t.

You can resume most of your normal daily activities in about three weeks. Strenuous activities like workouts and sports should still be avoided for some time based on the advise of your doctor. You can do light activities like walking to ease yourself back into your routine safely.

The results of a Brazilian butt lift should last for many years. If you maintain a stable weight, the fat cells that were removed from the donor area will remain gone and your buttocks will retain its look.

You might experience some slight swelling and bruising after the surgery, but these are temporary and should subside soon. If for any reason you feel too uncomfortable during the recovery process, your doctor can provide you with medication to help ease you through the recovery process.
